Are you a Registered Nurse (RN or RSCN) looking for a role delivering the highest calibre telephone advice to patients and making a real difference to people's lives?
In this position you will be joining a global Organisation with over 30 years' experience helping patients who have neck stoma make the transition from hospital to home as easily as possible. The offer a range of patient focused products and services and are committed to developing specialised solutions for people living with a laryngectomy or tracheostomy. Their product range enables people to speak after a total laryngectomy and allows people to breathe through their tracheostomy day and night while restoring pulmonary health. In the UK their Nurses, Sales Specialists and dedicated telephone Customer Support Team are committed to giving a voice to people who breathe through a stoma.
The company provides a Customer Support Team, who are highly trained and offer non clinical telephone support and advice to those with neck stoma. They also have a Home Delivery Service delivering products free of charge and discreetly at the patient's convenience. And patients, carers and Healthcare Practitioners can access a nationwide team of field based Nurse Advisors who can provide training on using the neck stoma products. These services are highly regarded and available to any patient, carer or Healthcare Practitioner
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join their team and provide clinically focused telephone advice and support. As Telephone Support Nurse you will be office based providing telephone support to patients, HCPs and carers who have more clinical queries or who would prefer to talk to a Nurse about problems they may be having relating to their neck stoma and the medical devices they are using at home. You will also be responsible for taking patients through the Home Delivery Service registration process and helping to identify where they would benefit from further training and support in their own home by one of the Home Nurse Team. You will also handle the more technical or clinical enquiries where speaking to a Registered Nurse who specialises in neck stoma care is a considerable benefit to patients, carers and HCPs.
This is an opportunity for a RN to join a global company committed to providing the best laryngectomy and tracheostomy support. We are looking for a NMC Registered Nurse with laryngectomy, airways management or tracheostomy experience including ITU, HDU, ENT, Facio Maxillary Surgery or Critical Care, Community or District Nursing or a Complex Care Staff Nurse or Head & Neck Nurse looking to specialise and join an Organisation committed to training and development.
Key Responsibilities for these roles;
- You will be supporting laryngectomy and tracheostomy patients who have been discharged from hospital and helping to increase their confidence living with neck stoma
- You will help patients understand the benefits of the Home Delivery Service and how to register on to it
- Level 1 UK Registered Nurse (Adult) or RSCN (Registered Sick Children's Nurse)
- Experience caring for patients with laryngectomy, airways management or tracheostomy
- Training, coaching, teaching or mentoring others is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
However, if this is not the role for you, please take some time to consider whether you know anyone else who may be interested. If you recommend a new candidate who we then go on to find a job for, we will send you £250 as a thank-you. (Terms and Conditions apply)
